Meridian Park PTSA
Supporting our teachers, families and school through
community-building events, classes, services and more.
Meridian Park Elementary School :: Shoreline Washington
Read-A-Thon packets went out to all students at the beginning of this month and the Read-A-Thon started March 2, but it’s not too late to join in and raise funds for the school and win prizes! Click on the link for Tracking and Pledge Sheets.
All funds go to benefit the Meridian Park PTSA. Readers can read aloud to others or be read to as well as reading on their own for credit. All reading counts!
Please help your kids to reach out to family members, neighbors, friends, your co-workers and others to seek pledges either in a flat amount or money per minute read!
Prizes address individual and group accomplishments for reading and fundraising achievement. Prizes include:
New this year: Recruit a new reader (someone who hasn’t participated in the Read-A-Thon before). If you each raise $60 or read 4,500+ minutes, you each get an extra 500 reading minutes credit towards prizes!
If you have questions about the Read-A-Thon, please feel free to contact Melanie anytime at melaniegillespie@mac.com.
