How Can You
Get Involved?

Read-A-Thon
Meridian Park PTSA hosts a read-a-thon each spring that not only encourages our students to read at home, but also raises needed money for our classrooms. Volunteers help out with everything from putting together student packets to tallying reading minutes to helping with incentives. There's something to fit every busy schedule. Contact Melanie Gillespie for more information.

Classroom Support
Classrooms at Meridian Park are looking for active volunteers to help with one-to-one reading, class preparation, an extra hand during projects, and all-around fun with students. Contact Annie Gage to find out what you can do to help.

Fall Carnival Fun!

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s fall carnival a success! This fun annual event is made possible by the generous donations and many volunteers (including students from the SERVE clubs at both Einstein and Shorewood) who ran games, served pie and pushed a broom at the end of the night.

2nd Annual Shoreline Classic Car Show a Huge Success (even with a little rain!)

Click here for photos from the event.

The Second Annual Shoreline Car Show, organized and co-chaired by parents Marty and Holly DeGrazia, happened Sunday, July 31, 2011. And despite wet weather, fun was had by all!

JP Patches signed autographs, The Fabulous Hammers provided great live music, and vendors served up tasty food and showy cars of all types were on display.

Local businesses sponsor this event, and for 2011, this is an official Seafair event that is a gathering for all of Shoreline.

Thank you, Marty and Holly for all your hard work, and to the many volunteers who came to help!
