Back-to-School Help for Community Families

The Back to School event is a community effort that provides school supplies, hair cuts, and clothing assistance for families in the Shoreline School District who are living with a low income and/or experiencing circumstances in their life that make it challenging to prepare their children to go back to school in the fall.

You can support the consortium by donating school supplies, books, hygiene products, socks and underwear.

Meridian Park Math Club Takes High Honors at Olympiad

On Saturday, April 19, Meridian Park mathletes traveled to Blaine, WA for the Washington State Math Championship.

This is a very prestigious competition: 1,200 of the best students in math in the state in 5th through 8th grades compete for awards.

This year Meridian Park did very well!  Dylan Austin won the 10th place individual award for 5th grade. The 5th grade team of Dylan Austin, Gwen Miller, Teddy Timbrook, and Steffen Torgersen won 9th place.  And the 6th grade team of Spencer Froelick, Olivia Humes, Wing-Sum Law, and Bethany Li won 13th place.

This is a great achievement, and we are very proud of our mathletes!

Volunteer Opportunities
Contact us for information on how to get involved.

Legislative Representatives
Do you have an interest in politics? Children's issues? Be a part of the largest child advocacy group in the United States. The PTSA has a long history of advocacy at the local, state and national level. Contact Mary Crandell for more information on how to get involved.

Family Services
Our PTSA, in collaboration with the other PTAs in our district, support families in need in several ways. Our holiday food drive, teen drive and The Works help people right in our community. We are looking for several volunteers to work on this together. This is a great way to meet new people, or grab a couple of friends and contact
Mary Crandell for more information.
